Photo footage of Fitting a Grid Back Cushion for Kyphotic Child

Universal/accessible design of the home from an occupational therapy and a construction perspective. This blog is part of a quest for cool, convenient, functional design that makes life safer, easier, and as maintenance-free as possible. It's about the lifestyle.
Grid back with cover removed and squares removed for lateral supports.
Grid wheelchair seat back, don't try this at home.  For best results an Assistive Rehab Technician trained in seating and positioning should do this job.  But here is some insight into what is involved.  Grid wheelchair seat backs are for accommodation not correction.

Pull plastic back and pull off Sun Foam squares to configure for kyphotic back.

Velcro grid squares are attached.
